Former Ardoq customer to lead global customer success, bringing hands-on transformation experience to help enterprise organisations drive outcomes at scale.

OSLO, NORWAY – May 29, 2025

Ardoq, the leader in data-driven Enterprise Architecture, today announced the appointment of Heidi Mattison as its new Chief Customer Officer (CCO). A respected digital transformation executive and former Ardoq customer, Heidi brings a unique perspective to the role, having successfully implemented the Ardoq platform to deliver measurable business value as Chief Technology Officer at Cabinetworks Group.

Heidi joins Ardoq’s executive team to lead global customer success, onboarding, support, and customer value realisation as the company scales its presence across Europe and North America. Her appointment underscores Ardoq’s continued investment in helping customers realise bold outcomes faster—from app rationalisation and operational efficiency to AI enablement and strategic alignment.

“Heidi’s story is a powerful example of what’s possible with Ardoq,” said Erik Bakstad, CEO and Co-founder of Ardoq. “She didn’t just deploy a tool, she led a business-wide transformation that saved hundreds of thousands of dollars, simplified complexity, and created alignment from the boardroom to the front line. Her experience, empathy, and clarity of vision will be invaluable as we help more enterprises put their data to work in service of real results.”

As CTO at Cabinetworks Group, one of the largest kitchen and bath cabinetry manufacturers in the U.S., Heidi used Ardoq to drive a bold enterprise modernisation initiative. Within the first 12 months, she led a rationalisation effort that reduced 260 applications to 230, generating over $800,000 in annual savings. Her approach integrated Enterprise Architecture with process management, governance, and business strategy, proving that EA, when done right, delivers tangible value.

Now, Heidi brings that same strategic lens to Ardoq’s customer ecosystem.

“Having lived the experience of making Enterprise Architecture work in a fast-moving business, I understand the real-world challenges our customers face—from scattered data to misaligned priorities,” said Heidi Mattison, Chief Customer Officer at Ardoq.

“At Cabinetworks, we turned EA into a driver of cost savings, strategic clarity, and operational speed. I’m excited to help other organisations unlock the same outcomes—faster, with fewer barriers, and with a clear path from architecture to impact.”

Heidi has spent over two decades leading large-scale transformation initiatives across the automotive, manufacturing, and industrial sectors. Prior to Cabinetworks, she held executive and senior leadership roles at Superior Industries, ZF Group, and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, where she focused on IT integration, process excellence, AI, M&A, and business relationship management. She began her career as an engineer at Mercedes-Benz U.S. International, giving her a rare combination of deep technical fluency and business acumen.

As Ardoq’s CCO, she will be based in the United States and work closely with customer teams globally to strengthen enterprise adoption, accelerate time-to-value, and ensure strategic outcomes remain front and center throughout the customer lifecycle.

Heidi’s appointment follows a period of rapid growth and product innovation for Ardoq, as the company continues to redefine how Enterprise Architecture drives business impact.
