The Ardoq AI Assistant can now work across more of the context surrounding your architecture, reason through it transparently, and turn what it finds into something you can use. Alongside these enhancements, we launched a growing workforce of specialized Architecture Agents that can take on specific EA tasks themselves.
The result is a shift from AI that helps you find the answer to AI that helps you get the work done.
The Ardoq AI Assistant started with a simple idea: make it easier for anyone to have a conversation with their architecture data.
This quarter, that conversation became much more powerful.
The Assistant can now bring together architecture data, documents, process information, and, when you choose, live information from the web. Instead of hunting across different sources yourself, you can start with the question you need answered and let the Assistant help assemble the context around it.
And importantly, you can see how it got there.
Its reasoning is visible as it works, with answers linked back to their sources. That means faster access to insight doesn't have to come at the expense of understanding where that insight came from.
The output is becoming more useful, too. Ask for a chart and get one you can quickly export to share with a stakeholder. The gap between finding an insight and communicating it gets shorter.
Taken individually, these might look like productivity improvements. Together, they change something more fundamental: how much work sits between an architect having a question and the business being ready to act on the answer.

In addition to speeding up insight consumption and sharing, a lot of time-consuming work still goes into ensuring the architecture is in order. But there is still a limit to what you gain from making questions easier to answer.
Sometimes, you don't need an answer. You need the work done.
That's where Architecture Agents come in.
This quarter, we introduced eight specialized agents designed around real EA workflows. Instead of asking you to interpret a response and figure out the next step, they can take on defined pieces of architecture work using the data, relationships, and context already in Ardoq. For example:
Other agents help inspect data quality, understand components, draft architecture models, map applications to capabilities, or support workflows unique to your organization.
The common thread isn't the technology behind each agent. It's that you no longer have to start from scratch.
You don't have to manually trace every dependency before assessing risk. You don't have to reread an entire contract to find the information that matters. You don't have to begin every model with an empty canvas.
The agent does the groundwork so the architect can apply their judgment.

Giving AI more work also raises the bar for what that AI needs to deliver.
An answer that saves ten minutes isn't particularly useful if you then spend twenty minutes checking whether it's right. And when that answer contributes to an architecture or business decision, sounding convincing isn't enough.
That's why traceability is critical to Ardoq AI.
Ardoq AI is grounded in the architecture itself: your data, your relationships, your metamodel, and the rules that give that information meaning. Relevant context is selected for the task, reasoning is checked against the underlying data, EA expertise is layered into the reasoning, and sources remain visible so you can follow an answer back to where it came from.
That becomes increasingly important as AI moves from answering questions to carrying out work. The more responsibility you hand to AI, the more important it becomes to understand what it did and why.
For enterprise architecture, that's the difference between an answer that sounds plausible and one you can actually use as part of a decision.

At NorgesGruppen, the difference is already tangible.
Enterprise Architect Mats Kjesrud used the Ardoq AI Assistant to create a contingency exercise from the organization's own architecture data. In around two minutes, the Assistant produced a scenario that was already 95% complete, including discussion points, escalation points, assumptions, systems, and stakeholders.

It's about reducing the busy work required to get to the decision.
AI was the biggest part of our Q3 release, but it wasn't the only way we shortened the distance between people and the information they need.
The New Ardoq Experience also gained several improvements designed to remove friction from everyday work.
Admins can preview Ardoq exactly as another user experiences it, making access issues easier to validate and troubleshoot. The homepage can be curated around the context most relevant to different stakeholders. Key visualizations can be surfaced upfront rather than buried behind a generic overview. And application owners can land directly in the portfolio information that belongs to them.
These are all investments so teams spend less time navigating the mechanics of architecture, and more time using architecture to move the business forward.
